Description

The HUD Continuum of Care Program is designed to promote a region-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; to provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, states, and local governments to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and to optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.

The CoC FL-507 has issued a Request for Applications (RFA) to select projects for submission to HUD in response to the 2019 Notice of Fund Availability (NOFA). The CoC FL-507 RFA  is open to all individuals, organizations, businesses, and units of local or state government who wish to work collaboratively toward ending homelessness. The competitive process described in the RFA is intended to be open as well, but all Applicants seeking to apply for HUD CoC Program funding should review the RFA posted on the CoC FL-507 website at www.centralfloridacoc.org and complete this on-line Application.

All Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, August 14, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST. (If more than one Application is received from the same entity proposing the same set of activities, the Application that is submitted latest but prior to the deadline will be considered.)
